Pricing

Who this page is for: the practice owner or manager deciding what Refera costs and exactly when a charge can begin.

Available on all planseach tier is a flat monthly fee, never a percentage of billings

Practice admins can view the current plan and open plan-change or cancellation controls in Settings - rights and timing follow the accepted terms. See Manage your subscription.

  • Practice: A$139 per month ex GST for one practice and every staff account.
  • Enterprise: A$417 per month ex GST for several sites and mailboxes.
  • Before either plan: the first 50 referrals are free for the practice. No card is required and the allowance cannot start an automatic charge.

Yearly billing is available on every tier and costs the equivalent of ten monthly payments.

Every new practice gets its first 50 referrals free. This is a one-time practice allowance, not a time-limited trial or a monthly reset. It lets the team use the full product before an Owner or Admin explicitly starts a paid plan.

At the cap, new referrals pause unless the practice activates a subscription. Existing records remain available to read, work and export. No payment method is collected during setup and the allowance cannot create a subscription or charge.

One price for your whole practice - every user included, no per-seat charges. Practice is the single plan for a GP, specialist, allied health, psychology or multidisciplinary practice; Enterprise adds several sites and inboxes in one Refera account.

Tier Price What it is
Practice A$139 One practice and every staff member: one oldest-first referral list, reply drafts for staff to check, a dated history and practice-level reporting. Email and fax-to-email need their setup checks. Secure upload and Medical-Objects are not available; HealthLink needs separate partner setup.
Enterprise A$417 Several sites and inboxes in one Refera account, with API access and priority support. Group-wide relationship and geographic reporting is not available yet.

No payment method is collected during account setup. After the practice has seen the product work, an authenticated Owner or Admin opens Settings -> Billing, reviews the selected plan and chooses monthly or yearly billing.

There are two deliberate paths:

  1. Review and pay in Stripe. Refera opens Stripe’s hosted checkout for the exact plan and cycle shown. Opening checkout does not charge anything. The person reviews the amount, GST, renewal and payment details in Stripe and submits there. Card and bank details never touch Refera. A subscription begins only after Stripe confirms payment and then renews on the chosen cycle until cancelled.
  2. Request an invoice. An Owner or Admin enters a business billing email and, optionally, a purchase-order or accounts reference. That creates one durable request for the Refera team to review. It does not create a Stripe invoice, charge the practice, start a subscription or turn paid service on. The form refuses patient or payment-card data. If Refera could not notify the team, the same request can be retried without creating a duplicate; an open request can also be cancelled. New referrals resume only after payment and entitlement are separately confirmed.

The connected Billing screen states the request reference and current administrative state without presenting the request itself as an invoice or receipt.

Refera Intelligence is a future concept, not an included allowance or purchasable add-on. Refera will publish its availability and price only after the feature and its patient-data controls are production-ready. Read the current status.

  • No setup charge and no payment method at sign-up.
  • A flat monthly fee - never a percentage of your billings.
  • Data portability: download the practice record and available history at no export charge. Cancellation and closure follow the accepted terms and authenticated process. Object-Locked source-archive storage is deployed in AWS Sydney. Complete source retention, retrieval and export remain unavailable until the lifecycle is proven end to end. See Exports and leaving.

The practice keeps three useful records as staff record the work:

  • A clear history that grows. Refera keeps who did what and when. Later changes stay visible.
  • A useful practice baseline. Arrival volumes, source mix, closure timing and top identified referrers become more useful with every verified month. Relationship gaps and geography are not yet available.
  • Download your records. Practice data exports at no charge while the account is open; operator-assisted closure includes a requested export under the accepted terms. Real-data activation stays blocked until the separate source-document lifecycle is proven.

Refera tracks referral admin only. It does not triage patients.

Examples are fictional and contain no patient information. Practice staff approve every external action. Refera never auto-sends or independently contacts patients.
